ABOUT US
Stéphane Natan, Ph.D.
Stéphane Natan received his Ph.D. in French language and literature from the Université Jean Moulin in Lyon in April 2003. He is the author of Les Pensées de Pascal : D’un projet apologétique à un texte poétique (Paris: Connaissances & Savoirs, 2004), and he has published scholarly articles on Pascal and Racine in different countries and continents: Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Hungary, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His articles have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as AUMLA, Dalhousie French Studies, Études épistémè, Journal of Language, Literature and Culture, Les lettres romanes, MLN, Neohelicon, Nottingham French Studies, Romance Quarterly, Seventeenth-Century French Studies, and Symposium.
Dr. Natan is a tenured professor of French in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Rider University.

María Cristina Campos Fuentes, Ph.D.
María Cristina Campos Fuentes was raised in Mexico City, where she finished her undergraduate studies in communication and journalism at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. After graduating, Dr. Campos Fuentes remained in Mexico City and worked as a journalist for the Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes.
In 1998, Dr. Campos Fuentes earned a master’s degree from the Institut Français de Presse at the Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris. She also has a master’s degree in Spanish language, culture, and literature from the University of Tennessee.
In 2007, Dr. Campos Fuentes received her doctorate from the University of Tennessee, graduating summa cum laude. Her dissertation was a comparative perspective focusing on the erotic poetry of Mexican writers Octavio Paz and Rosario Castellanos.
Dr. Campos Fuentes has written several articles in peer-reviewed journals and a book, Con el otro la poesía comienza: Amor y sexualidad en poemas breves de Rosario Castellanos (Mexico City: Conaculta, 2010).
Dr. Campos Fuentes is a tenured associate professor of Spanish at DeSales University. Click here for a list of her publications.
Board of Referees
LEF-E is a peer-reviewed academic journal with about 200 referees from the United States—from more than 40 different states—, Australia, Argentina, Canada, France, Germany, Ghana, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Each referee holds a doctoral degree in a field related to the journal (French, Francophone, Spanish, Latin American, or comparative literatures) and is, or was, a faculty member in higher education.
